A Woman Like Her.

Amelia Della Vita

--

What a warm soul she is
Carrying the weight of the world in her shoulders
A painful, delightful damsel
A woman, a poem.

She dances barefoot on the fire
Her dress is made of nothing more than desires
Her ways of facing fear are something I admire
The perfume of her freedom
Lies in the garden.

Butterfly flying in the summer’s sky
She is what I call a nude alibi
Black hair as the black matter
Brown eyes that will sink and swim
With you in the water.

Don’t take her for granted
She says
A small grain of sadness
Will leave her insane
Dance with her within her happiness
She’ll be with you
Until death claims her
As her holiness.

A sweet and divine feminine body
The world is like an illusion
Trying to put her on a cabin
But the world doesn’t know
She is stubborn
A thunderstorm about
To collapse the normal.

“Let her live and let her die”
It’s written in her tiara
Her dress as yellow as the Sahara
Belongs to nobody, and nobody will understand that
A woman like her is once in a lifetime.
